PAONIA

we beat paonia by like 30 on friday. it was a good game for us, we really worked hard on pushing the ball and playing good position defence. this week we play baggs, they beat us last time but we never play good there. i think we can get a win, but we'll have to play consistent through the whole game. we are 7-5 right now. so far we have won 1, then lost 1 every other game this season. hopefully we can break that pattern this week.

BAGGS

k so i hate baggs wyoming, it is the worst town in the history of towns. you go there thinking that your gonna have some success and BAM! they wipe the floor with you. i just don't no what else to say, we were cocky and they were ready. i think it will be a different story the next time we see them. this friday we have westgrand at home, we are pretty focused this week. it will be tuff for them to steal a win from us at our own house.

BIG GAME V.S. SOROCO!

so soroco is undefeated, and were not. but that's OK cause were going to beat them anyways. in all seriousness its going to be a dog fight to the end. we match up very well at all positions, although i do think that we do have more athletic posts. i hope we use that to our advantage.

SEASON OPENER

our first game of the season was a doozy! it was so close from beginning to end. speaking of the end, totally awesome! we were down to points with 10 seconds left in regulation, zach engle fires a pass to murphey smart, murphey lay a sweet hook shot up coming across the middle barely rolling its way off the rim. luckily, zach barnes was there for the tip to put it in over time! over time started sloppy,both teams turning the ball over a lot. we had a three point lead with 1:13 left when billy zehner fouled there best player. 1&1 made the first missed the second, we turn the ball over with we'll say 20 on the clock, there worst player makes the game tying shot! 16 seconds left the ball is fired down the court billy goes for up for the shot and then at the last second dumps to zach barnes for the winning shot with 1 second left! great game should of been there.

SCRIMMAGE THIS SATURDAY

we have a scrimmage v.s moffat county, meeker, and possibly rangley. its this Saturday and I'm pretty sure we are gonna do well, except for against moffat county. they are probably gonna kick are butts. but other than that we will hold our own. I'm exited to see how our offence is gonna do. we'll see.

FIRST PRACTICE

our first practice was yesterday, it went pretty well. i was surprised at how people were actually hustling! last year people kinda just wanted to have fun, and not work that hard. i think that the new coach is ganna do well, practice last night was already better than any practice we had last season.
